Become an Experimental Partner

The 2018 CFA Institute Driving Change: Diversity & Inclusion in Investment Management report identified 20 recommended actions for investment firms that seek greater inclusion and diversity at their firms. Firms that contributed to that report and other firms are invited to become Experimental Partners in 2019-2020. Over this two-year timeframe, these firms will test the actions and determine more detailed implementation plans – what works and what doesn’t. Based on this input, CFA Institute will report the findings in an update or new edition of the report as warranted.

 

Commitments from firms:

  1. Agree to participate and submit the one-page form; this includes identifying a point person from your organization. We will publish a list of firms but will not attribute details about any firm’s specific activities except by prior consent. Our priority is candid feedback, and we prioritize confidentiality. Firm representatives can decide whether they wish to connect with other firms pursuing the same ideas, with prior mutual consent.
  2. Participate on a kickoff call with CFA Institute to answer questions.
  3. Complete quarterly updates from March 2019 through December 2020 (seven in total). These can be accomplished through 30-minute calls CFA Institute can schedule or through forms.
