If you are looking to take the Level I exam soon, know this.

The December 2020 exam is the last paper-based exam for Level I candidates and would allow time to register for Level II in June 2021.

The first computer-based exam will be in February 2021. If you pass, you can take the Level II exam in June 2022.

CFA Institute will transition all Level I exams to computer-based testing in 2021. Although the exams will be digital, they are not online. Exams will be offered in proctored test centers globally.

  • Proctored exam available in 400+ locations globally
